Spring 2018 Gallery
Selections from the artworks uploaded on Emergent Art Space in the Spring 2018

My tendency of experimenting with new mediums and techniques has leaded me to this installation with hot glue, wire, and interplay of light and shadow. I have been developing my use of this medium for one and a half years. It is meant to convey the fragility and flexibility of human nature and existence.
In this series of works, I have tried to create a biomorphic forms. Wires form a basic structure while linearly applied glue fills in the void. My choice of materials reflects the idea of flexibility and fragility of the human body.
With the use of light I have tried to show how there can never be one constant truth. What we perceive and experience makes up our knowledge of the world; We accept that as truth. However, as light changes so does the shadow.
Our perception of something is dependent on circumstances.
My work intends to dismantle the notions of fixity and permanence.
